Our data privacy statement

In the following we inform you about the collection and processing of personal data for the use of and registration on this website. Personal data are all data, which relate to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour.

1. Data collection and processing

1.1. Technical data  
When you visit our websites your browser communicates data, which we collect temporarily, in order to make it possible for you to visit our site. These are: IP address; date and time of the enquiry; time difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT); content of the requirement (specific page); access status/HTTP status code; quantity of data transferred in each case; website, from which the requirement comes; browser; operating system; language and browser software version.

1.2. Contractual and usage data 
When you register for our service, we store your data for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. Compulsory statements for the processing of the contract are marked separately, other information is voluntary. When the contractual relationship has ceased, your data is stored only for the period for which we are required by law to store it. 

Your data, which are required to make it possible to draw down and invoice our offers, are used solely to process the contract concluded between us.


1.3. Data provided by you / uploaded data 
Data, which you yourself store for the use of our services, are collected, processed and stored by us. This includes the production of security copies in our back-up systems.  

If you contact us through this website, we record the data you have communicated. We use the personal data communicated to us in this way solely for the purpose for which you provided them to us, when you contacted us.

1.4. Cookies 
In addition, when you use this site, cookies are stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files, which are identified and stored by the browser used by you and by means of which the authority, which places the cookie (in this case, therefore, ourselves) receives certain information. Cookies cannot run any programmes and they do not transfer viruses to your computer. They are used to make the internet offer as a whole more user-friendly and more effective.
This website use cookies to the following extent: transient cookies (temporary application) and third-party cookies (from third party suppliers) The cookies are deleted as soon as the session ends (when you close your browser). 

You can prevent your computer from storing cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software; however, we would like to make you aware that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

2. Where are my data processed? 
As a matter of principle your data are processed in Germany. Only in individual cases and within legally admissible limits are data processed abroad.

3. Data security  
We maintain up-to-date technical measures to guarantee data security, in particular to protect your personal data from risk in data transfer and from third parties obtaining information from it. These measures are always revised to meet the current state of the art.

4. Data transfer 
In some cases we use external service providers to process your data. These are carefully selected by us and commissioned in writing. They are bound by our instructions and are regularly inspected by us. The service providers shall not transfer the data to third parties. 

Furthermore, we may be obliged in accordance with legal provisions to pass on data to government agencies or third parties. Moreover, we transfer data to third parties, only when you have expressly agreed thereto.

5. Website analysis
This website uses Piwik, an open source software (http://de.piwik.org) for the statistical analysis of visitor traffic. For this purpose, so-called cookies are used. These are text files that are saved onto your computer. The usage information generated by the cookies is transmitted to our server and saved for usage analysis purposes, enabling us to optimise our website. During this process, your IP address is immediately anonymised so that you remain anonymous to us as a user. The server on which the statistical data is stored is made available to us by a German provider and is also physically located in Germany. 

6. Information on stored data / correction 
You have the right to request information from us at any time about the data concerning you stored by us and about its source, recipients and categories of recipients, to whom these data have been transferred and about the purpose, for which they have been stored.

If you have given your consent to the use of data, you may revoke this at any time with effect for the future.

You may, of course, request at any time that incorrect data is corrected.
